The Beginning of Chemtrails Over The Country Club Era

Although Lana Del Rey released "Let Me Love You Like A Woman" back in October 2020, it wasn't until she released the title track on January 11 that I feel we are finally in a new era.

Her seventh studio album was first "teased" right after Norman Fucking Rockwell! was released in August 2019, when she said it will be called White Hot Forever. Of course, everything changed in the year after, and we are witnesses after the official cover and name were now released.

"Let Me Love You Like A Woman" was released as a single on October 16, 2020, as the lead single. The song is beautiful and was accompanied by a video. I don't know if to call it an official music video nor call it a lead single. When you listen to the song you can feel NFR! vibes, so it felt like an extension of her sixth studio album. It didn't felt like a new era, and the music video didn't felt official neither.

The song was written by Del Rey and Jack Antonoff, who also produced the song and
NFR!, so yeah, maybe it was recorded back in 2019.

Now, on January 11, Lana released the second single and music video titled "Chemtrails Over The Country Club", the same name as the album. She also released the official album cover, the tracklist, and additional photographs. The album will contain eleven tracks, the shortest length since Ultraviolence, but unlike her second record, no bonus tracks were announced. The initial release proposed for the album was September 2020, but after problems to produce the vinyl version for the album, Del Rey announced a delay to 2021.

Now confirmed, her seventh studio album will be released on March 19, but the era already started.
